Secure your digital transformation
Protect your factory, assets and IP

Advancements in Connected Manufacturing processes have opened up attack surfaces for hackers that have previously been secure; ICS and the IP associated with those are ripe for industrial espionage; Irdeto has the only solutions on the market that not only identify malicious attacks in real time, but halt any tampering or reverse engineering without affecting operational efficiencies

With the ever-increasing connectivity of today’s industrial systems, combined with the proliferation of more standardized platforms, critical software has never been more vulnerable to access by hackers or reverse engineers. Taking advantage of high-tech advances, many industrial companies are innovating products with Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins, digital diodes, behavioral analytics, machine learning, Additive Manufacturing, and so much more. However, at the core of these product innovations is the patentable Intellectual Property developed in software, for which the attack surface has been exponentially increased by connectivity. If compromised, this software is as readable as a book to a hacker who has access to the system and able to run commonly available reverse engineering tools.

In this session, Mark Hearn, Sr. Director of IoT Security at Irdeto, will take you through a discussion of how hackers think about their targets, what they look for, and how you can set your product security requirements to combat them. Starting with the maturing Secure Software Development Lifecycle, delving deeper on software protection tools, and highlighting where advances in software protection are headed, Mark will demonstrate how most software products today would significantly benefit from the protection of the key algorithms and data that are advancing our IIoT ecosystems. During this session, Mark will be joined by members of the GE Research Digital Ghost team to provide their Software Protection use case, and how the right toolset could be used to decrease the risk of IP leakage in the Digital Ghost product.
